Infusion Softball Off to a Very Hot Start

The 2012 Infusion softball team has jumped off to a very hot start for the spring 2012 season. The team has compiled a record of 7-1 with 4 games left to play. With the addition of 5 new players and one previous veteran you can look for this team to finally get over the hump of playing mediocre softball.

Graduation Time?

My daughter is on the verge of graduating from high school and we are very excited to see her accomplish this goal. I must say that we choose to follow the Duval County Magnet Program and had to endure our daughters being bussed around the city to attend the right magnet school. I am very glad to say that all of the running around has finally paid off. Deja will be graduating from Stanton College Preparatory this coming June.

We are very proud of everything she has accomplished and we look forward to her continuing her education at Florida A & M University’ s College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Duval County Busing

How do you feel about the busing situation in Jacksonville? If you ask around many folks would agree that something needs to change. There is a law that mandates the county to provide transportation to students that attend their neighborhood schools. Students who attend magnet schools are not covered under this mandate.

Birthday Celebration

On Wednesday February 22, 2012 I had an opportunity to celebrate the birthday of my lovely wife Dee. I surrounded her with roughly 25 friends and family members. I setup the reservation at the Crabcake Factory at Jacksonville Beach. The food as excellent. I never knew Paella could taste sooo good. Of course the crab-cakes were excellent too.

The overall atmosphere at the restaurant was great. The saxophonist played happy birthday as well as gave a couple of birthday shout-outs to my wife Dee over the P.A. Everyone seemed to have a wonderful time at the party. There is nothing better than celebrating with food, having fun and fellowshipping.

I just want to wish my wife a Happy Birthday and I pray that God will continue to bless you with many more. Thank you to all the family members and friends who attended and for those who wanted to attend but could not.

Retooling?

I am in the process of retooling my website. I initially started this website a few years ago with the intension of promoting my computer repair and website designs. I still perform those tasks, however you will need to jump over to my other site http://reversegearconsulting.com and see how we do things there.

The purpose of this site going forward will be for me to write articles or blog about my life, my love and my lord. I cannot thank God enough for giving me the opportunity to have made it this far in my life. I am grateful and humble to even have gotten the opportunity to do what I love and love what I do. If you have any comments regarding the articles please keep them clean and keep them coming. Feedback can be critical at times, however it is essential to understand where we are so that we can get to where we need to be.
